Overview:

At Project CS we offer professional plastering and painting services. Specializing in collaborations with builders and insurance companies.

We are looking for a Solid Plasterer to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for applying and finishing plaster, cement and similar materials to internal and external surfaces of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The role ensures surfaces are structurally sound, smooth and prepared for painting or further finishing, in accordance with relevant standards and safety requirements. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Newstead, QLD.

Main tasks:

- Full plastering works across residential and commercial projects.
- Installation of steel frame systems and internal wall/ceiling framing (where required).
- Gyprock sheeting, including walls, ceilings, bulkheads and set-outs.
- Stopping, patch & set, flushing, jointing and finishing to a high standard.
- Ceiling and wall repairs, including water damage restoration (insurance works experience is a plus).
- Cornice installation, repairs and replacements.
- Re-sheeting and rectification works where required.
- Sanding, preparation and finishing ready for painting.
- Maintain clean, safe and professional job sites, following WHS requirements.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Proven experience in plastering/gyprock (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Trade qualification (Certificate III) is an advantage.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Experience in insurance repairs highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have own vehicle and driver’s licence.
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules.

Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
