About the Position:
The Solicitor role at Mack Lions Lawyers Pty Ltd is a vital position within our dynamic legal team, focused on delivering expert legal advice and representation to a diverse client base. This role involves handling a wide range of commercial and civil matters, including family, corporate, property, and trust law, while supporting clients through negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings. As a Solicitor, you will play a key role in upholding the firm’s commitment to providing innovative, high-quality legal services, contributing to both client success and the firm’s reputation as a leader in the legal industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct client interviews to assess legal issues and determine appropriate strategies.
Perform legal research to support case strategies, staying updated on relevant legislation and precedents.
Provide expert legal advice on family, corporate, commercial, property, partnership, and trust matters.
Prepare and review legal agreements and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Draft wills and, where applicable, act as an executor for clients’ estates.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings, including court appearances when required.
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification in law from a recognized institution.
Minimum of one year of relevant legal experience.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English (Mandarin proficiency is a plus), build client relationships, and work collaboratively within a team.
