• Our client URGENTLY requires a Software/Systems Engineer - Robotics for an 8 months + Contract in Sydney.
• The Computer Software/Systems Engineer will provide Specialist Engineering Services in the areas of Computer Systems Science, and Maritime Autonomy & Robotics. You will be required to achieve a number of deliverables that will feed into and provide benefits across a number of areas.

Skills and Experience required includes

• A working knowledge of naval platform systems and contemporary software engineering tools, to assist with the further development of integrated simulator for maritime autonomy capability.
• Ability to adapt, integrate, and extend autonomy systems for autonomous underwater vehicles and related sensing, navigation and communication systems.
• Experience in the areas of software engineering, modelling and simulation, C++ and Python programming languages.
• Experience in the areas of Robotic Operating System (ROS) middleware, Combat Systems simulation, Deployable Defence Geospatial Systems and Defence Geospatial Dissemination System.
• Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
