we are the content geeks, a boutique creative studio based in brisbane, australia. we specialise in social media management, on-demand video projects, social media strategy and ai-powered visuals. we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes short form content, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and geeks out on social media as much as we do. you’ll start by owning our brand socials (tiktok + instagram are our main platforms), and as the role grows, you’ll also jump in on client accounts when workloads spike. what you’ll actually be doing: - creating 3 short-form videos a week (to start) for tcg (on-camera, edited, captioned, posted) - bringing fresh ideas, formats, and takes, we want initiative, not just execution - applying our brand strategy + audience insights, then making it your own - running our posting calendar and keeping us consistent - experimenting, iterating, and improving as you go what we’re looking for: - someone who genuinely lives and breathes social media - high initiative + creative taste, you don’t wait for direction, you set it - confident on-camera and skilled at short-form editing - understands tone, humour, and audience psychology (beyond just trends) - independent thinker with high agency who thrives with creative freedom what it’s not: - us feeding you raw footage to chop up - micromanagement, we don’t have time to babysit - faceless execution or recycling the same templates everyone else is using, we want personality, originality, and taste logistics: - remote (anywhere, as long as you deliver) - approx 10–15 hours/week to start with a view to scale to full time - trial period: 1 month (testing fit, creativity, and initiative) click apply with: - portfolio links or examples of video content you’ve created (bonus if you were the face of it) - a quick note on why this role excites you if we’re a good fit, we’ll start with a chat and then kick off a 1-month trial. more detail check out our website: www.thecontentgeeks.com
