We are seeking a Social & Digital Content Producer for a 12-month maternity leave contract to work on CommBank. You’ll lead and deliver multi-channel digital and social content for business and finance brands, with a focus on video and social-first storytelling. The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep knowledge of social platforms, content performance, and audience engagement. Key responsibilities Develop, plan and produce content for websites, video, social, and other digital channels. Create and execute content strategies, creative briefs, client-facing decks and pitch materials. Lead and manage video shoots, including pre-production planning, talent/crew coordination, and production schedules. Manage end-to-end content production, from concept through editing, post-production, and delivery. Collaborate with internal teams (editorial, design, marketing, sales) to ensure content aligns with brand and business objectives. Write, review and edit content to maintain consistency, accuracy and brand voice. Optimise content for SEO/AEO and digital distribution. Source, brief and manage external contributors (videographers, photographers, HMUA, stylists). Socialise content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook (and emerging channels), adapting assets to suit each platform. Champion digital, social and audio knowledge, ensuring best practice and keeping across platform updates. Manage creator campaigns, immersive long-form projects and always-on content calendars. Report on performance, distilling analytics into actionable insights. Who are you? 4+ years’ experience in digital and social content (agency, client or publisher). Strong knowledge of social platforms content performance and audience behaviours with a particular focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign); motion graphics/animation a plus. Confident capturing, producing and editing social-first video content, as well as briefing creative teams and influencers. Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. Experience with search (SEO, AEO), analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush), social management tools (Hootsuite) and paid social campaign best practices (Demand Gen, Meta). Creative yet data-driven, able to find the sweet spot between audience needs and client objectives. Comfortable pitching and creating original content, identifying content socialisation/amplification opportunities and briefing/directing talent (influencers, business owners, executives). Able to translate performance data into meaningful insights to improve future content.
