Harley Magic is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join their team in Cairns QLD.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Detect and diagnose engine faults and repair or replace defective parts on small engines such as mowers, all-terrain vehicles, whipper snippers etc.
- The capacity to perform maintenance services such as to ensure smoother running of unit and ensure compliance with pollution regulations and refers to service manuals as needed.
- Able to Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanical components.
- Dismantle and reassemble engine and parts after being repaired.
- Using diagnostic tools and testing parts
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Strong diagnostics capabilities

Skills and Abilities:

- Certificate III in Small Engine Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Small Engine or ATV/Motorcycle Mechanic
- The ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
