Jimbour Beef and Bacon is seeking experienced Skilled Meat Workers to join our expanding team at Queensland’s meat processing facility. The successful applicants will be involved in a range of meat processing duties in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Inspecting livestock carcasses in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Operating controls to direct and drop carcasses from supply rails to boning tables
• Cutting and separating meat, fat, and tissue, including washes, scrapes, and trims
• Operating and maintaining meat cutting and slicing equipment
• Preparing cuts of meat for further processing or packing
• Cleaning and sanitising work areas and equipment
• Assisting with receiving and storing meat products
• Complying with workplace health and safety, food safety, and hygiene requirements
Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in beef or pork processing is essential
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated, reliable, and well organised
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
