The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Site Asset Staff in providing support managing the supply chain, arranging transportation and storage of materials and transportation management. Managing the supply chain includes every step in the process of procurement of materials to the shipment The job duties of the Site Asset Staff are as follows: Track and manage the addition and removal of equipment within the customer network, providing regular updates to the procurement team for three sites. Develop, implement, and maintain the logistics team’s processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Assist in the creation, monitoring, and implementation of training plans for the logistics team. Monitor and report progress on meeting requirements within various customer reporting systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, HelpNow) for multiple. Support logistics leads in overseeing and coordinating global logistics operations for OCONUS sites. Provide assistance during customer Supply Chain Management Review (SCMR) audits, ensuring compliance and thorough documentation for three OCONUS sites. Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing effective solutions. Approve and oversee equipment transfers for hub and tail sites, acting as the Custodial Property Officer (CPO). Collaborate with the Broadside Configuration Management team and Tier II technicians to address configuration management needs. Develop site-specific inventory plans and continuously monitor and report on inventory status and updates. Track and manage the disposal of equipment throughout the program, ensuring all required documentation is completed and compliant with policies. Oversee and report on Return Material Authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins across all OCONUS site locations. Work closely with site personnel to maintain adequate consumable property stock levels. Track, trace, and update the status of shipments as necessary to ensure accurate reporting and timely delivery. Successfully complete all assigned training requirements to maintain operational readiness. In addition to the tasks listed, the role may involve undertaking other related responsibilities as needed. Successful candidates must possess the following skills: Possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products Experience ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), property management practices and data entry into SAP/AM are a plus. Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry for 40 feet several times a day. Experience in physical inventorying equipment, as well as proper labeling, tracking, and documenting the movement of IT equipment. Ability to travel about 30% of the year and work under difficult conditions. Possess strong communications skills, to include written and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision. Education The candidate must have 9 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a bachelor’s degree and 5 years, an associates and 7 years or HS and 9 years. Clearance Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data entry into SAP/AM or equivalent system of record Experience applying a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycle Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as engineering, finance, quality assurance/testing, manufacturing and installation) product vendors in order to build a product that fulfills a product vision and to turn it into business success. Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database and historical document records Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware, with three or more years of experience working with IT logistics Three years or more of ITSM tool experience, SAP asset management, and ServiceNow At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better.
