Moggy’s Group of companies specialise in the construction of residential, rural and commercial sheds, termite treatment and installation of prefabricated fibreglass swimming pools. We are currently seeking to employ qualified and experienced Signwriters to join our team at the new purpose-built premises in Paget (Mackay) QLD.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Engaging in discussions with clients and assessing proposals, sketches, and written instructions to determine the composition of signage
- Utilizing computer software and sign making machinery to design and produce signs and graphics
- Crafting signs by measuring and calculating letter sizes, prepping surfaces, applying background paint using brushes, sprays, or rollers, and fashioning letters with brushes, stencils, enamel paint, and decals
- Developing wall murals, screen prints, gold leaf work, and custom vehicle art
- Applying lacquers, varnishes, paints, and various materials for sign and lettering painting
- Painting signs on various surfaces such as brick, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and others
- Constructing and installing three-dimensional signs
- Creating cost estimates for labour and materials
- Possibly working on scaffolding when needed
- Potentially installing signs at on-site locations

Skills and Abilities:

- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Signwriter
- Certificate III in Signs and Graphics or other relevant qualification
- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
