About Us We’re 360 Shopfitters (Melbourne, AUS) working across cafés, retail, medical, and small office projects. We need reliable drafting/design support on a casual/ongoing basis with quick turnarounds and on Budget ( Pending on Project Scope ) The Role Own the shop fitout design workflow from start to finish: Concept & layout: test-fit, floor plans, furniture/equipment layouts Design development: elevations, sections, joinery details, finishes schedules Compliance & permits: building permit set (VIC/AUS), shopping centre guidelines, landlord approvals For construction: fully dimensioned plans, details, services coordination notes (MEP), revisions As-builts (sometimes): final redlines and documentation Typical Project Types Café/food & beverage tenancies (small to medium) Retail tenancies, pop-ups, kiosk concepts Reception & small medical/office refreshes Deliverables (as needed) Dimensioned floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations/sections Joinery/detail drawings (cabinets, counters, bars) Power/data, plumbing points (coordination notes with trades) Finishes & fixtures schedules Permit-ready drawing set (PDF) + editable CAD/Revit files Issue logs/revision clouds; drawing register Must-Have Skills Strong AutoCAD (Revit a plus), PDF markups (Bluebeam or similar) Experience with retail/hospitality documentation and basic services coordination (MEP) Understanding of VIC/AUS permit documentation (or similar jurisdiction + willingness to adapt) Clear, prompt communication; comfortable with fast turnarounds and iterative markups Nice to Have Centre/Tenancy Guideline experience (Vicinity, Scentre/Westfield, QIC, etc.) 3D visuals (SketchUp/Revit/Enscape) for quick client sign-off Knowledge of food prep requirements (handwash, bin store, ventilation notes) Tools & Workflow We share markups via PDF/Bluebeam; base files in DWG/RVT Occasional Teams/Zoom check-ins You’ll coordinate with our lead designer (John) and PM (Luke) Engagement Casual/ongoing — project-based with potential for steady weekly hours Budget Please provide hourly rate (AUD) and minimum charge, plus a typical range for: Small café concept → permit set (single tenancy) Retail refresh (light joinery + finishes updates) How to Apply (please include all 5) Portfolio/PDFs of relevant shop fitout work (café/retail/medical) Two sample drawing sets: one permit pack (or equivalent) + one detailed joinery pack Software list (versions), and file deliverables you can provide (DWG/RVT, PDFs) Turnaround for small/medium packs and your timezone/availability A short note on how you handle MEP coordination and centre guidelines Screening Questions (answer briefly) What’s your process from concept to permit on a café tenancy?
