About

Our international school is urgently looking for a senior SEO (expert) to help us quickly and sustainably lift our visibility across Google Search, Google Local Pack (Maps), and LLMs. Primary markets: - English, then Indonesian/Korean (then Chinese/Japanese later). Outcomes (what success looks like): - Clear understanding of our school, audience, differentiators, and goals. - A prioritized plan of high-impact fixes and quick wins we can ship immediately. - Measurable visibility lift in: a) Local Pack for relevant queries b) Organic search for priority non-brand terms c) LLM answers (clean organization/entity signals; accurate mentions) - A 90-day plan we can execute (content, citations, landing pages) across English (primary) and Indonesian/Korean (secondary). You will do this by: - Running a comprehensive but practical SEO audit (tech + content + competitors + keyword discovery). - Leading a short SEO sprint (prioritized fixes + simple guidelines our implementer/dev can follow). - Delivering a lightweight long-term plan (content/citations/reviews/landing pages), sized for our team. What we expect you to cover (at a minimum): - Technical SEO: crawl/indexing, Core Web Vitals (mobile), sitemap/robots, canonicalization, internal linking. - Multilingual SEO: hreflang and language targeting for EN/ID; recommendations for KR/ZH/JA rollout. - Local Pack (Google Business Profile): categories, NAP consistency, photos, Q&A, reviews program, core citations. - On-page: page titles/meta/H1s aligned to intent; schema markup (Organization/School + FAQ where relevant). - LLM/Entity signals: structured data completeness, “sameAs” links, basic entity/citation cleanup so LLMs identify us correctly. - Measurement: define KPIs, set up a simple dashboard (GA4 + GSC + GBP UTM) to track progress. Deliverables (short and concrete): - Prioritized Top-10 Fixes list (impact × effort) + ready-to-execute tickets/instructions. - Keyword & page mapping for EN (and a fast pass for ID/KO). - 3 page briefs (outline/specs) for the highest-leverage pages (e.g., Local discovery page, Admissions/Fees, other?). - Local Pack playbook: GBP improvements, citations starter list, reviews collection workflow. - 90-day plan: what to publish/clone, where to get listed/mentioned, review cadence. - Dashboard link + brief loom/video walkthrough (optional). Experience required: - 5+ years leading SEO sprints/turnarounds (not just maintenance). - Evidence of Local Pack wins (before/after) and CWV improvements on mobile. - International/multilingual SEO exposure (hreflang + localized keyword research). - Comfortable directing implementers/devs (turning audit into tickets and validating fixes). - Excellent communication in spoke and written English. Nice to have: - Awareness of Naver/Baidu ecosystems (for later phases). - Education sector or multi-location/local-service experience. Engagement & budget: - Sprint engagement (not full-time). Hourly with weekly cap or milestone-based—please propose. - Budget up to USD 10k (including any junior implementer hours, if you propose them). How to apply (keep it short): Please include: - 5–10 bullet plan with timeline (what you’d do when & why). - 2 brief case studies showing a Local Pack win and a speed/CWV lift (screens ok). - A sample deliverable (e.g., 1 page brief or a top-fixes excerpt). - Your pricing model (hourly/milestone), earliest start, weekly availability, timezone.
