**Job Title: SEO Specialist Needed for Keyword Research and Strategy Development** **Job Overview:** I’m currently managing SEO for a client that own 3 chocolateries and looking for an experienced freelancer to assist with keyword research and strategy. The primary focus will be on one of their three WordPress sites built on the Acorn/Sage framework. The other two sites share a similar structure and differ mainly by location-based content, so the strategy developed will later be replicated across them. There is also a separate dedicated e-commerce store, but the immediate focus is on driving more qualified visitors to the physical venues through the location-based sites. The technical SEO groundwork is already complete: performance optimisation (GTMetrix & Lighthouse scores are strong), basic schema setup, redirects, Yoast SEO, and general on-page optimisation. What’s needed now is strategic support—specifically keyword research and a lead-driven SEO roadmap, enhanced meta descriptions and titles. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct keyword research for the first location-based site, with a focus on lead generation and in-person visits. - Analyse competitor keywords and identify gaps/opportunities. - Develop a keyword strategy aligned to business goals (balancing local intent with broader informational/transactional terms). -Suggest content opportunities (new landing pages, blogs, location-specific content). - Provide recommendations for off-page SEO (backlinks, citations, authority building) if relevant. What I’m Looking For: -Proven experience in keyword research and SEO strategy (please include examples). -Strong understanding of local SEO. -Ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations. -Comfortable working in a support role, collaborating with me while I manage the overall SEO. Deliverables: -Keyword research report (spreadsheet or Looker Studio). - Competitor analysis summary. -Suggested keyword/content strategy roadmap (prioritised for ROI). - Ongoing input and consultation. I’m open to a monthly quote for ongoing collaboration, starting with initial research and strategy setup for one site, with the plan to extend the approach across the other two. This is not a generic SEO package role, I’m specifically looking for someone who can strengthen the keyword and strategy side of the work I’m already managing.
