We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Technical Officer – Electrical and Instrumentation to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team based in Longford, VIC on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations East, you will play a key role in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance to fixed and mobile plant. Key Responsibilities Inspect work areas and equipment for hazards or damage Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including repairs and part replacements Diagnose and fix faults or breakdowns Read drawings and instructions to plan and complete tasks Estimate and order materials as needed Support safety standards and assist with training apprentices or team members Your background Licensed 'A' Grade Electrician Current Victorian Driver's Licence Experience or qualifications in Instrumentation and Control (valued) Experience or qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (advantageous) About the Team The Operations & Maintenance team exist to safely operate APA Power, Transmission, Midstream and Network assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.
