MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• * 5 years of experience in either Android or iOS development, testing,
• maintaining, or launching software products.
• * 2 year of experience with software design and architecture.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• * PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related fields.
• * 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• * Experience in a tech leadership role, including mentoring and guiding team
• members and managing communications to Leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• * Write and test product or system development code.
• * Lead Google Maps App client development for high-impact projects at the
• intersection of mapping services and artificial intelligence.
• * Drive the refinement of the core Directions platform, enhancing system health
• and building new capabilities that serve the global user base.
• * Work across Android and iOS to deliver cross-platform features.
• * Co-own the technical road-map for the Directions platform, providing guidance
• for future challenges.
