  • The purpose of the Senior Service Specialist - Compliance Communications is to collaborate with Partners and internal teams to ensure that all transactional and compliance communications to Members and Employers meet regulatory standards, reflect our tone of voice, and support our business strategy.
  • This role also proactively manages change, resolves issues, and oversees ad-hoc compliance mailings to ensure robust, Super Simple communication processes.
  • Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
  • Shape team vision and objectives with your manager; communicate priorities and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and drive innovative, cost-effective communication strategies.
  • Support team development, training, and succession planning.
  • Oversee end-to-end transactional correspondence across all channels, ensuring alignment with standards and promoting digital options.
  • Maintain correspondence registers and collaborate on reporting and exception management.
  • Engage early with project teams for ad hoc mailings, validate processes, and ensure compliance.
  • Lead communication projects from planning to delivery, managing budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure vendor solutions align with quality, cost, and risk requirements
  • Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • RG146 or insurance/superannuation certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, i.e. compliance communications within superannuation or financial services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with experience in crisis communications and producing clear, engaging content.
  • Proven strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills for developing and refining communication strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Confluence, JIRA, and familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all communications and reporting.
