• Tertiary academic qualifications as a real estate valuer, which are recognised by the Australian Property Institute.
• Demonstrated broad experience in real estate valuation and a demonstrated knowledge of valuation for land acquisition purposes.
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience in administering legislative and regulatory procedures pertaining to road corridor land, including the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, Transport Administration Act 1988, Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991, Native Title Act 1993, Local Government Act 1993, Crown Lands Act 1989, Conveyancing Act 1919 and Real Property Act 1900.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the compulsory acquisition of land for government infrastructure purposes and statutory processes.
• Possess a high level of experience and an understanding of land acquisition and the infrastructure project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure effective and empathetic communications with internal and external parties concerning highly complex and politically sensitive issues.
