Contract: Fixed Term till 30th April 2026 with high possibility of extension
Location: East Perth
Level 6: $120,457 - $132,753 per annum (pro-rata)
Onsite
WA Drivers licence required – Travel within the Metropolitan area

Experience with Microsoft office products – Outlook, work, excel, teams
Experience with TRIM would be beneficial but not required
Selection criteria
1. Demonstrated substantial experience in property management and leasing.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience to manage minor works and maintenance projects.

3. Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), including negotiation and mediation skills, and the ability to develop and leverage working relationships with a range of stakeholders to achieved project outcomes.
4. Demonstrated resource management and planning skills including financial management and information management and the ability to lead teams.
5. Demonstrated highly developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to complete work within time frames.
Duties but not limited to:
• Manage the Department’s occupied and surplus to requirements property and ensures any under-utilised premises, either owned or leased, are available for use within the Department's requirements for accommodation.
• Negotiate and coordinate office accommodation, maintenance of leased premises, building management and office fit-outs.
• Manage dispute resolution, property asset and leasing registers and property exit strategies.
• Prepare budgets, coordinate resources, manage contracts, authorise payments and procure goods and services to implement agreed initiatives, and monitors and reports on their performance.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, principles and guidelines for property management.
• Liaise and negotiate with tenants, managing agents and building managers regarding properties, facilities, leases and service issues
• Assist with and liaise on the preparation and submission of technical specification documents for expressions of interest and tendering processes
• Manage tasks and projects regarding leases, building management, property management and related issues
• Prepare or obtain specifications of internal Departmental structures and current information, including up-to-date floor plan diagrams and schematics
• Act as the internal project manager or client for the duration of contracts by coordinating projects and contractors while on site.
