  • Job Description
  • The Senior Program Manager – Product & Marketing plays a strategic and operational leadership role, managing the cross-functional delivery of product and marketing outcomes with a global team. This role is responsible for overseeing the business-critical Stage-Gate process for new product development, as well as the day-to-day oversight and prioritisation of the Product and Marketing teams.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless collaboration across Design and Development, Marketing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seasonal launches, in-line updates, and marketing programs are delivered on time, on strategy, and aligned with global calendars and sales priorities.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership & Process Management
  • Lead the final definition, execution and continuous improvement of the Stage-Gate process for all new products, from initial concept through to being in market.
  • Manage seasonal timelines and cross-functional deliverables across Design, Development, Brand Marketing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain. Own and manage the global calendar and clearly communicate across teams
  • Ensure global alignment of program timelines, materials, and launches, coordinating with international teams and regional stakeholders.
  • Facilitate gate reviews, project checkpoints, and senior leadership updates to ensure visibility, accountability, and momentum.
  • Carryover & Inline Product Management
  • Oversee the seasonal management and update process for carryover and in-line products, including packaging, labelling, regulatory changes, sustainability enhancements, and cost optimisations.
  • Ensure these updates are integrated into broader seasonal timelines and communicated effectively across global teams.
  • Marketing Program Support
  • Coordinate execution of marketing campaigns and content development outside of seasonal product launches.
  • Align marketing asset creation, timelines, and delivery with internal creative teams, digital, PR, and channel marketing leads.
  • Cross-Functional Integration.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across departments, creating clarity around priorities, milestones, and decision points.
  • Build and manage detailed project schedules using a combination of ‘Click-Up’ and spreadsheets to track dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
  • Lead program retrospectives and apply learnings to improve future cycles.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Qualifications
  • Key Qualities and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in a global, cross-functional consumer products environment—preferably within the outdoor, apparel, footwear, or equipment industries.
  • Deep expertise in managing Stage-Gate product development processes, as well as post-launch product management.
  • Experience working across multiple time zones, cultures, and regional teams.
  • Strong background in both product lifecycle management and marketing campaign execution.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Smartsheet, Asana) and familiarity with PLM systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while keeping teams focused and aligned.
  • Experience in both softgoods and hardgoods product categories. (preferable)
  • Familiarity with sustainable product initiatives and compliance processes. (preferable)
