About the Role: We’re seeking a Senior Performance Analyst (Max Term 12 months –38 hours, Full Time), who thrives on solving complex technical challenges while working collaboratively with fundraising colleagues. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, sharing knowledge, and keeping skills sharp through ongoing learning in emerging performance measures. Location THQ Blackburn, VIC. Purpose of the Role: This role drives the creation and delivery of national fundraising plans, performance measures and reporting aligned with The Salvation Army’s strategic priorities. It partners with stakeholders to embed integrated planning and reporting across fundraising teams, while championing systems that improve performance and continuous improvement. Acting as a strategic and hands-on leader, the role builds capability, strengthens governance and risk management, and adapts to evolving fundraising needs. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Planning Lead the development, refinement and review of business plans to align with strategic objectives. Support the creation and execution of the Fundraising strategic plan. Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships to optimise plans and scope initiatives. Ensure plans align with budgets and The Salvation Army’s broader strategy. Annual Budgets Lead the annual fundraising budget process with leadership. Facilitate discussions and deliver draft budgets for approval. Monitor budget performance against targets throughout the year. Provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed. Performance Develop, implement and enhance the Fundraising Performance Framework. Analyse trends, deliver reports and provide insights to senior leaders. Manage reporting solutions, forecasting models and the data framework. Facilitate monthly and quarterly performance reviews with leadership. Business Improvement & Progress Review and improve fundraising processes to drive donor-centric outcomes and efficiency. Research and apply best practices and innovations in planning and reporting. Maintain strong communication and relationships with fundraising teams nationally. Develop templates and toolkits to support wider fundraising operations. About You/ Skills Required: Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic, operational and business plans. Experience in designing and facilitating planning and reporting workshops. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Advanced training, facilitation and presentation capabilities. Strong stakeholder engagement, customer service and relationship-building skills. Desirable Tertiary qualification in business, management, fundraising or a related discipline. Knowledge of fundraising systems, data frameworks and performance reporting. Experience working in large, complex or not-for-profit organisations. Familiarity with governance, risk management and continuous improvement practices.
