Position Overview
As a Senior Optical DIspenser, you will bring your expertise, product knowledge and customer service skills to deliver outstanding experiences to our patients. You will play a key role in guiding patients through frame and lens selection, ensuring optimal visual outcomes, comfort and style. Your experience and mentoring abilities will support junior team members and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispense Optical appliances, including prescription glasses, sunglasses and specialty lenses with a high degree of accuracy
- Provide expert advice on frame selection, lens options, coasting and styling based on the patients' needs and preferences.
- Conduct precise measurements and adjustment for fit and comfort
- Interpret prescriptions from optometrists and liaise where necessary for clarification.
-Maintain up to date knowledge of optical products, technologies and industry trends
- Assist in Inventory Management, ordering and stock presentation
-Provide mentorship and training to junior team members
-Ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction throughout the customer journey.
-Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements
-Fully qualified optical dispenser with greater than 5 years industry experience e.g. Diploma of Optical Dispensing or equivalent is essential.
-Extensive knowledge of Optomate Practice Software
-Demonstrated expertise in high-end dispensing, lens technologies and frame selection
-Ability to perform frame fitting, adjustments and repairs
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Excellent attention to detail and problem solving ability
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
-Management of Online advertising such as Facebook and Instagram

Working every Saturday, 8.00am starts and regular Thursday nights are required.
