Based at Southern Queensland Rural Health in Toowoomba About This Opportunity We are eagerly seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Operations to join us at Southern Queensland Rural Health (SQRH) to manage the operational and administrative functions of the unit, ensuring organisational and financial sustainability. This is the perfect opportunity to diversify your career in higher education and lead the SQRH team as they aim to make a real and positive difference to regional healthcare in Queensland, and the education of our students and future healthcare professionals. In this role, you will: Support the Director in leading and managing the daily operations, strategic development, risk management, quality improvement, reporting, and business functions of SQRH, while providing high-level advice, overseeing administrative processes, and delivering special projects as needed. Oversee and manage SQRH’s financial, human, and physical resources - supporting budget and grant processes, leading administrative staff, ensuring compliance, and driving performance. Foster effective internal and external communication, liaising with key stakeholders across academia, healthcare, industry and government. Our ideal candidate will bring a wealth of senior management expertise and be committed to improving access to quality health services for rural and remote Australians.
