  • Job Description
  • The school is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Nursing at the Gold Coast Campus.
  • You will contribute to both teaching and research in the school. You will teach and convene courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supervise Honours and Higher Research Degree students, and undertake high impact research aligned with the research strengths of the school. Where required, this position will also act as program coordinator and/or other leadership roles.
  • This is a full time, continuing position primarily based at Griffith University's Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
  • Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
  • Salary Range
  • The base salary for a Senior Lecturer (Level C) position is in the range $138,702 - $159,936 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $162,281 - $187,125 per annum.

You will also have

  • An unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (Ahpra).
  • A PhD in Nursing or related area, with evidence of a research track record and demonstrable commitment to teaching excellence, including course coordination and curriculum development.
  • A strong track record in curriculum development, course coordination, and teaching excellence.
  • Proven success in attracting competitive research grant funding and a track record of publishing high quality papers.
  • Ahpra endorsement to prescribe as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner, or nursing experience in Infection Prevention and Control or Mental Health or Aged Care (highly regarded).
