- Purpose of your role
- We are looking for a Senior FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for our Technology, Risk and Transformation functions. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives on influencing strategic decisions, driving performance, and shaping investments that enable growth and innovation.
- You will partner closely with executive leaders, providing actionable insights, robust financial governance, and a clear line of sight into the return on investment for technology and transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset, deep FP&A experience, and a demonstrated track record of supporting software and platform development through capitalization and performance measurement.
- What You Do
- Executive Business Partnering: Act as the primary finance partner for Technology and Risk and Transformation leaders, providing proactive insights that influence strategic decisions and value accretive business outcomes.
- Financial Planning & Analysis Leadership: Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for your portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Performance & Investment Oversight: Lead month-end reporting, highlighting performance versus plan, key drivers, and actionable insights. Provide oversight of software and platform development investments, including CAPEX/OPEX tracking, capitalization, and ROI analysis.
- Capitalisation & ROI Expertise: Prepare and maintain robust business cases for technology and transformation initiatives. Measure and report on financial and operational returns from software/platform investments to guide future spend.
- Risk & Governance Alignment: Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure investments are appropriately governed and aligned with organizational risk appetite.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Lead initiatives to enhance FP&A processes, improve reporting efficiency, and implement tools for better investment measurement and insight delivery.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Mentor and develop junior FP&A professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative finance team.
- Qualifications
- What You Bring
- Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; CA/CPA/CFA (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience: 8–10+ years in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Decision Support roles, ideally in software, digital platforms, or technology-driven businesses.
- Software/Platform Investment Expertise: Proven experience in capitalizing technology/software development, tracking costs, and measuring financial and operational ROI.
- Strategic Influence: Ability to partner with senior executives, providing insights and challenging decisions with confidence and commercial clarity.
- Technical Skills: Strong in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, investment appraisal, and scenario analysis.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex financial information in a clear, actionable manner for both technical and non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring or managing finance teams, developing talent, and fostering collaboration.
- Mindset: Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a focus on driving results in a fast-paced, transformative environment
