The Opportunity As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be a pivotal member of our Finance team, embedding innovation, curiosity, and forward thinking into your work. Acting as a trusted partner and adviser to key business leaders, you’ll provide strategic financial analysis, operational and financial insights, and uplift financial acumen across the business to help inform decision-making. Key Responsibilities Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with business units and key leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis on operating expenditure and business drivers. Identify and communicate risks, opportunities, and emerging trends to support decision making. Act as a key liaison between Finance and other business units, fostering collaboration and financial literacy across the agency. Management Reporting: Develop and present monthly finance reporting packs for the Senior Leadership Team and enterprise wide. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts in compliance with standards. Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support decision making. Budget/Forecast: Play a key role in facilitating the agency’s annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with strategic priorities. Assist in preparation of the agency’s reforecasting cycles. Process Improvements: Support continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and enabling self-service functionality within Workday financials. Collaborate on finance systems road map and adopt innovative tools and methodologies to streamline operations. About You Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting; CA/CPA qualified. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance or business partnering role, ideally within the investment/financial services sector. Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders. Advanced analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to present complex information simply. High proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, with a preference for experience using Workday and Adaptive. Key Competencies: Personal accountability and a self-starter mindset. Growth mindset; open to feedback, learning, and new ideas. Strong connection and engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and manage conflict constructively.
