Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Perth CBD Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in distribution design both underground and overhead to join a leading engineering consultancy on a permanent, full-time basis in Perth CBD Office , offering flexible work arrangements and leadership opportunities across major energy infrastructure projects.
This is a key technical leadership position that will see you working on UG/OH distribution d esign for both greenfield and brownfield utility and mining projects

Key Responsibilities:

Overhead distribution design modelling 415V to 33kV
Underground distribution extensions
Underground distribution network upgrades
Site inspections including:
Preparation of design packages for client approval
Preparation Bills of materials and estimation
Training and support of junior team members
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Apply content and application of local utility standards
Demonstrate design innovation and cost optimization as part of the design process
Scoping notes
Survey
Soil resistivity measurements


About You:

Degree in Electrical Engineering
Demonstrated experience with local power utilities
Skills to work independently
CAD Software proficiency in AutoCAD
5 to 10 years of Experience in electrical design of distribution networks
