6-month temporary role, full-time hours, with an hourly rate of $52 + Super. Your new company Are you looking for a temporary full-time position? Based in Hobart, this role sits within a well-regarded Tasmanian transport and operations organisation. Due to continued growth in major infrastructure projects, this role will support the Major Projects team with expert cost control services. Your new role Cost control is your strength! Working both independently and within a collaborative team, you will provide high-level financial and project support across a portfolio of major projects. You'll be responsible for complex cost and schedule performance analysis, financial modelling, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. Your role will also include mentoring team members, liaising with external advisors, and ensuring accurate and timely financial data across multiple systems. You'll have demonstrated experience in project cost control or financial analysis, along with:


Proven ability to manage complex financial data across multiple systems
Strong analytical skills and experience with earned value management
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting capabilities
Ability to work autonomously and contribute to continuous improvement
