We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant – Change Management to join APA’s Grid Solutions Program team in Sydney CBD office on a full-time basis until June 2027. Reporting to the Business Transformation and Change Lead, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering one of APA’s most significant digital transformation programs - modernising how we operate our gas transmission assets and directly impacting our core revenue. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our business, drive people and customer readiness, and embed meaningful change that will set APA up for long-term success. Key Responsibilities Lead the change management workstream within the Grid Solutions Program (GSP), ensuring effective planning and delivery across internal teams and customers. Develop and implement tailored change strategies that focus on adoption, capability uplift, behaviour shifts, and readiness reporting. Oversee communications and engagement, including program comms, leadership updates, business readiness forums, fortnightly engagement sessions, and internal digital platforms. Guide and coach two direct reports (a Change Consultant and Change Analyst), ensuring consistent, high-quality communications and impact assessments. Partner with executive sponsors, customer managers, and operational teams to manage stakeholders and secure alignment. Monitor and analyse sentiment across internal and customer groups, using surveys, feedback loops, and engagement to surface risks and opportunities. Translate insights into actionable change and communication plans that address resistance and enhance engagement. Your background Extensive experience in leading change management delivery for large-scale digital or transformation programs. Strong background in communications, stakeholder engagement, and customer-focused change. Proven ability to design and deliver change impact assessments, readiness plans, and tailored strategies. Confidence in managing complex stakeholder groups, including executives, customers, and operational teams. Experience leading and coaching junior change professionals.
