As the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company's compliance program. You will work closely with all business units and corporate functions to ensure Iress meets all legal and regulatory obligations. Your expertise in applicable governance corporate governance will be critical in mitigating risks and fostering a culture of compliance. Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in: Program Leadership: Design, implement, and maintain a robust and effective compliance program that aligns with our business objectives and risk profile. Regulatory Change Management: Manage the process for identifying, assessing and implementing regulatory changes required by new or updated laws and regulation. Policy Management: Develop and manage the Policy lifecycle process, from creation, to approval to communication to review and retirement, in accordance with the policy management policy. Obligations Management: Refine and maintain an obligations register in the GRC system for regulatory and contractual compliance requirements, as well as relevant controls and owners, and implement a system for regular review, attestation and reporting on compliance status. Training & Awareness: Create and deliver engaging compliance training programs for employees to promote a strong compliance culture. Monitoring & Auditing: Oversee internal monitoring activities to ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures. Incident Management: Lead the investigation and resolution of compliance-related issues, incidents, and breaches, including in relation to those relating to Australian Financial Services Licence. Advisory Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance questions, providing expert advice to business units and senior leadership. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the General Counsel APAC, and the Chief Legal, Risk, and Governance Officer on the status of the compliance program, identified risks, and remediation efforts. What you will bring: A tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field (mandatory). Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a compliance, legal, risk, or audit role. Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing effective compliance programs. Experience with Australian Financial Services compliance requirements. Demonstrable experience within the technology sector is an advantage. Clear and confident communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Work collaboratively cross-functional teams, with a hands on and pragmatic approach. Adaptability and ability to thrive in an evolving environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
