- About the role
- The client solutions architecture area sits within our fast-growing client organisation to help our clients uncover, transform and build the technical solutions and architecture for what’s next and innovative for their business – all using the 10x platform at its core.
- As a Senior Client Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in working closely with our clients’ technical and business teams in understanding the needs of our clients and help shape the usage and future of our platform to solve their business challenges. As such you will leverage your broad and deep technical knowledge to shape, refine and build the end-to-end technical architecture and solution, with a specific focus on adapting and standardising the 10x platform and its capabilities to fit within the client’s overall estate.
- About you
- The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic and detailed orientated individual with an engineering background and a passion for designing and building fresh modern cloud native solutions, have a proven ability to work as part of a team, build something where nothing exists, eager to always learn, and instil instant technical trust and accountability with clients, partners, and our product & engineering teams.
- Your expertise is deep and broad, with a hands-on approach and the ability to lead a team in producing detailed technical work, understanding the business domain and need of the client and business, and high-level architectural solution designs.
- Ideally you will have...
- Experience working with open-source technology
- Developer background with hands on coding and engineering experience
- In depths knowledge of at least 1 programming language i.e Java/C#/Go/Python
Knowledge of container-based, cloud-native platform infrastructure and services including
- AWS
- Kubernetes
- Kafka
- Services Meshes
- SQL/NoSQL databases
- Linux
- Good foundation on security principles, architecture & tooling
- Hands on experience supporting and ideally authoring microservices with CI/CD
- Experience in retail banking, specifically deposits and lending
- Strong communication skills along with the necessary confidence to build relationships at all levels of the organisation, including the ability to work effectively and independently with client and internal stakeholders
- Innately strong diagnostic, curios, tinkering and a problem-solving can-do mindset and attitude
- Good organisation and time management skills focused on delivering to agreed deadlines
- Ability to switch context from technical to business and back to technical during a conversation with a client
- Ability to present proposals and articulate core technical value proposition
- History of handling technical questions, new demos, client interactions, and all client communication
- Engineering leadership experience in a very technical, fast-paced, agile environment
- Lead a team in producing detailed technical work and complex end-to-end complete architectural solution designs.
