OpenAI just launched shopping in ChatGPT. Google launched AP2 (Agent Payments Protocol). Were building the infrastructure for merchants to accept purchases from AI agents. We need a senior backend developer to implement the merchant-side protocols. What You'll Build: Week 1-2: Shopify OAuth integration Product catalog sync (GraphQL API) Database schema (PostgreSQL) Basic REST API framework Week 3: OpenAI ACP endpoints (CreateCheckout, CompleteCheckout, etc.) Stripe Shared Payment Token integration Event logging system Webhook handling Week 4: Analytics API endpoints Testing & bug fixes Deployment to production Documentation Required Skills: Node.js/Express OR Python/FastAPI (4+ years) PostgreSQL or MongoDB REST API design & implementation Stripe API integration (or similar payment processors) OAuth2 flows Webhook systems AWS/GCP deployment Highly Valued: Shopify API experience Payment systems experience E-commerce background GraphQL queries You Are: Senior level (can architect solutions independently) Detail-oriented (payment systems need to be correct) Fast (we ship in 4 weeks) Communicative (daily updates via Slack) Available full-time starting THIS WEEK To Apply: Share your experience with payment APIs (required) Have you worked with Shopify or e-commerce APIs?
