See yourself in our team You’ll join our Treasury & Financial Risk Audit team a specialist Line 3 function within GA&A. We focus on financial risks including traded and non‑traded market risk, liquidity, funding and capital. You’ll work closely with specialists across Wholesale Credit Risk, Models & AI, Institutional Banking & Markets, Financial Services and our global audit teams. Your impact We’re seeking a Senior Audit Manager with experience in financial risk particularly market, liquidity or treasury risk. In this role you’ll help shape meaningful insights that support safe customer outcomes and uplift risk practices across the organisation. In this role, you will: Guide and lead end‑to‑end audits across market, liquidity and funding risks Provide insights that support strong risk management, controls and governance Facilitate walkthroughs, conversations and evidence‑based assessments with stakeholders Prepare clear, accessible audit reporting for senior leaders Contribute to building a dynamic risk‑based audit plan that reflects emerging themes Nurture positive working relationships across GA&A and wider business teams We’re interested in hearing from people who have: Experience in market risk, liquidity risk, treasury, or financial risk modelling/validation across Line 1, Line 2 or internal audit Knowledge of APS 116, APS 117, and other relevant prudential standards Experience in valuation or modelling of financial instruments (e.g., IFRS 13, IFRS 9, IFRS 7) Experience building, validating or testing risk models (traded or non‑traded) The ability to interpret complex information and communicate it in an approachable, inclusive way Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing clear and thoughtful reports Experience delivering and leading audit activities and working with a range of stakeholders A tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, actuarial studies, engineering or quantitative disciplines If this sounds like your next opportunity, we’d be delighted to hear from you please apply now.
