About the Role

  • A pivotal role in meeting the strategic objectives and regulatory requirements for AXA IM’s key mandates, through active portfolio management, financial analysis, performance tracking, and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Fund and Cash Management models, incorporating asset management cashflows, capex and valuation assumptions.
  • Analysis of asset and portfolio performance against the funds’ investment strategies and relevant benchmarks.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs to the Board and Investors.
  • Contribute to the development of annual strategic asset plans and budgets and oversee their effective implementation.
  • Research new and emerging markets, compile data and undertake financial analysis to contribute to forward looking decision making around investment strategies.
  • Management and delivery of external valuations including review and analysis to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversight of ESG initiatives and fund level ESG reporting, including annual GRESB submission.
  • Assistance in debt strategy, reporting and refinancing.

  • Committed to driving ESG outcomes through Real Estate investment.
  • Recommend and drive continuous improvement activities in processes, reporting systems, policies and use of technology
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.

Your Profile

  • Education/Qualifications
  • Degree with specialisation in finance / Real Estate / economics
  • Experience
  • 5 years relevant professional experience in real estate funds management investment
  • Property and lease cash flow modelling required
  • Exposure to fund models essential
  • Knowledge and Skills
  • Financial modelling, analysis, and/or development feasibility
  • Experience in core real estate sectors in Australia
  • Fluency in English
  • Competencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and report writing skills
  • Strong financial, and analytical skills (DCF and financial modelling)
  • Solid capability of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Autonomous, trustworthy, and accountable
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
