- Job Description
- As an Actuarial Analyst at TAL, you’ll be an important part of the Finance Operations team. Your focus will be managing key data and automation processes and helping pull together monthly reports for different finance teams. You’ll work alongside a supportive group of people who are keen to make things better and always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
- This is a permanent role, working flexibly from our Sydney office.
In this role you will
- Execute Prophet models
- Complete processes to update monthly assumptions
- Prepare, manipulate, and interpret data
- Develop detailed knowledge of financial reporting requirements at TAL
- Provide support on projects and ad-hoc requests
- Support the work of junior team members, as required
- Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 3 years work experience in life insurance or financial services
- Exposure to FIS insurance suite of products – Prophet, DCS
- Strong communication skills
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to balance multiple tasks
