Great Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am– 4:00 pm Competitive Package: $95K–$100K + Super Leadership Role: Oversee a large team of approx. 60 staff across multiple sites About the Role MSS Security is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee operations at a large, multi-site university campus in the Newcastle region. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a team of approximately 60 security personnel across several university sites, with day-to-day operations based at a central location. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position requires strong people leadership, operational oversight, and a proactive approach to risk and incident management within a dynamic public-facing setting. What you'll do: Manage daily security operations across multiple client sites in the Newcastle area Lead and support a dispersed team of approx. 60 staff Conduct site visits, audits, and performance assessments Coordinate rostering, training, and supervision across teams Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with security protocols, safety standards, and site procedures Provide professional incident and risk management, including response coordination What We're Looking For: NSW Security Licence, First Aid & CPR Certification Minimum 1 year of experience in a Security Manager role – 2+ years desirable Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple locations Solid knowledge of physical security operations and access control systems Professional communication and leadership skills Highly organised with the ability to prioritise under pressure Confident decision-maker with strong incident management experience Master Licence Number: 408742075 How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
