We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Solution Architect to join a leading retail organisation on a 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to shape and strengthen the company’s security architecture in a dynamic retail environment.

The Role

As the Cyber Security Solution Architect, you will:

• Design and deliver end-to-end security solutions across enterprise retail systems.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align security architecture with organisational strategy.

• Provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks.

• Lead reviews of current architecture, identifying gaps and implementing improvements.

• Ensure secure integration of new applications, platforms, and retail technology initiatives.

• Act as the security authority during project design, delivery, and handover.

About You

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Security Architect in large enterprise or retail settings.

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).

• Experience designing secure cloud, application, and network architectures.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.

• Ability to balance business needs with robust security outcomes.
