• Security Architecture & Design: Lead the detailed design, build, and configuration of security roles and authorisations across multiple SAP platforms, including both on-premise and cloud solutions.
• Role Lifecycle Management: Perform comprehensive role analysis, risk evaluation, and entitlement design, successfully leading security workshops with business Process Architects and application owners.
• Identity & Access Integration: Utilise and administer SAP Identity Management (IdM) toolsets to ensure effective user provisioning and governance.
• Cloud Security Modeling: Define, model, and implement new security structures (roles, groups, teams) specifically within the SAP Cloud Solution, ensuring seamless integration with the existing SAP access matrix.
• Issue Resolution: Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex security defects and authorisation issues, proposing viable options to meet client requirements.
• Compliance & Gaps: Proactively identify control gaps and develop and implement solutions to ensure the security design aligns with business needs and compliance mandates.
• Delivery & Communication: Act as a critical resource, supporting solution delivery teams (development, testing, change management) throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience

• Specialist Experience: Minimum of three years of focused SAP functional experience in Application Security and Role Design.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the SAP Security role build process across various SAP modules and system types.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication (written and verbal), leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Project Delivery: Demonstrated success in contributing to a team-oriented environment and delivering high-profile activities within demanding project timelines.
• Ambition & Growth: A strong drive to continuously develop as a functional consultant, with aspirations for team leadership or project management roles.
• Strong client relationship and engagement skills.
• Excellent presentation skills for communicating technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to explore and tackle new technical domains and client challenges.
• Clearance Requirement: Must currently hold an active NV1 AGSVA security clearance.
