Our client, Outdoor Supacentre Pty Ltd is a leading Australian wholesale and retail trader specialising in automotive accessories, outdoor recreation equipment, camping gear, caravans, marine equipment, and other leisure products. Operating under the widely recognised brand "4WD SUPACENTRE," the company has an extensive product range and national presence through its physical and online retail outlets.

Outdoor Supacentre Pty Ltd is seeking to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer. This role is critical for supporting the continued growth and technological advancement of the business.

The primary purpose of the position is to develop, maintain, and enhance the Salesforce platform, ensuring streamlined business operations and improved efficiency in customer relationship management. This position plays a crucial role in driving internal productivity, enhancing customer interactions, and supporting the scalability of technological systems across the business.

Qualifications and Experience
• At least three years of full-time relevant work experience in software development, website design, or a similar IT industry role is required.
• At least two years of full-time relevant work experience in Salesforce development, software engineering, or a closely related IT position is required.

In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions to meet organisational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business needs.
• Customize Salesforce applications, including workflows, triggers, and integrations
• Advance the Salesforce platform features and functionalities, aligning with strategic business goals.
• Document all features developed, creating clear and comprehensive process maps and technical documents.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure Salesforce aligns with operational needs.
• Integrate Salesforce effectively with third-party systems and external APIs, enhancing data flow and overall functionality.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce updates and implement new features proactively to drive innovation.
• Develop and optimise automated workflows, processes, and triggers to enhance business efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards in all Salesforce development activities.
• Writing, testing, and maintaining Salesforce code using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce-specific technologies.
• Developing detailed Salesforce customisations, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and Custom Objects.
• Conducting regular reviews of Salesforce functionality to identify areas of improvement and proposing solutions.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving Salesforce technical issues promptly.
• Ensuring efficient and secure integration of Salesforce with external applications and systems.
• Staying up-to-date with Salesforce technological advancements, best practices, and industry trends.

Skills
You will need to possess the following skills and personal attributes:
• Proficiency in Salesforce development languages and frameworks, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Strong ability to configure and customize Salesforce systems effectively to align with business requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of development and documentation.
• Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external systems through APIs and web services.
• Awareness and adherence to cybersecurity best practices, data privacy laws, and compliance standards in software development.
