You’ll influence opportunities from initial engagement through to final proposal, shaping solutions that align customer needs with business objectives and technical excellence. This role sits within a strong and well-established team in our Brisbane office, where you will report to the TAKRAF Sales Manager. What You’ll Be Doing: Build trusted partnerships with key customers and engineering teams —becoming a go-to technical and commercial advisor. Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities across Capital sales. Act as the critical link between customers and internal teams, delivering timely responses, technical insight, and practical solutions. Lead the development of quotations, tenders, and proposals, including testwork programs and interpretation of laboratory data. Contribute to process design, supporting equipment sizing, design criteria, and high-quality technical documentation. Manage sales activities—from presentations and risk reviews to bid/no-bid decisions. Maintain accurate records using CRM and SharePoint to ensure seamless proposal and project management. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project, and commercial teams to align schedules, design intent, and customer expectations. About you: You bring a strong understanding of the mineral processing industry, with at least three years’ experience in sales or telesales and a proven ability to operate effectively in a target-driven environment. You have a solid customer service background, are confident reviewing and interpreting technical drawings (PFDs, P&IDs), and understand the practical workings of a sales function. You’re experienced in building lasting customer relationships, thrive in cross-disciplinary teams, and consistently deliver reliable, professional outcomes. Experience in testwork, proposal writing, and identifying new customer opportunities is advantageous.
