- Nine is looking for a Sales Executive to join our Total TV Team, focusing on Metro TV!
- Reporting into a Group Business Manager, the Sales Executive (SE) role is the primary day-to-day contact for clients, media planners and buyers. They are ultimately responsible for maximising revenue and share across their portfolio, developing and executing a sales strategy to deliver YOY revenue, yield and share growth, creating and selling premium sponsorships and leading, managing and guiding a Sales Coordinator/Account Executive.
Day to day duties include
- Actively working with your Group Business Manager to meet revenue targets, secure the largest market share and promoting Nine products and the company’s suite of assets.
- Creating targeted advertising schedules/premium sponsorships across all relevant channels based on briefs received from advertising agencies.
- Understanding the market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts/rates on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
- Building and maintaining successful relationships with key agency contacts and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and upskill your resource to be the best they can be.
- Using data to review success of a campaign to ensure continuous improvement, monitor delivery and proactively act on performance and progress against clients goals.
- Qualifications
What you'll bring
- A thorough understanding of broadcast systems and measurement metrics. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated experience within sales, within a client marketing department or within a media agency.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
- An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point.
- Proficiency in Google Suite is desirable
