As a Safety Netting Technician at Workingsafe Australia Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining safety netting systems across industrial, commercial and construction sites. This position requires technical precision, excellent safety adherence, and the ability to work collaboratively on site.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Install and secure safety netting systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards
• Inspect and assess netting installations for wear, damage, or required adjustments
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of netting components as needed
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and hazard identification relating to safety netting
• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure all installations conform with Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
• Prepare job reports, documentation, and communicate with supervisors about site conditions
• Coordinate with site teams and other trades to ensure timely project completion
• Support the setup of access equipment (ladders, scaffolding, lifts) as required for safe installation

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant qualification in a trade or technical field
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Safety Netting Technician or similar technician/trade role
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and installation techniques
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks at heights

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
