  • Job Description
  • As a Revit Technical Officer with Egis, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality 3D models and design documentation for client substation designs within the electrical distribution industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your BIM and drafting skills in a supportive engineering design team and contribute to projects across Victoria and other states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining AutoCAD and Revit models for substation layouts, equipment arrangements, and associated building services.
  • Preparing design drawings and documentation in coordination with electrical engineers and design staff.
  • Assisting with site survey data integration into Revit models where required.
  • Collaborating in a team environment, while learning to work efficiently and autonomously on allocated tasks.
  • Qualifications

To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have recent demonstrated experience in a similar electrical design draftsperson role within industry. In addition, you will also have

  • Technical qualification such as a Diploma of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
  • Current full Victorian Driver’s License
  • Experience in electrical or mechanical drafting and/or design using REVIT is essential
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical services design will be highly regarded
