Retaurant Manager
At Piccolo Trattoria, we are looking for a skilled Retauarant Manager to work on a full-time basis (38-40 hours per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the café to ensure smooth and consistent service.
• Works together with the chef or cook to suggest changes, updates, or improvements to the menu based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
• Coordinates staff schedules and assignments to manage busy periods and maintain service quality.
• Supports and guides staff to create a positive, cooperative work environment.
• Monitors overall customer experience, stepping in to address any concerns or issues.
• Handles operational challenges, such as equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or unexpected busy periods.
• Communicates with owners or senior management about café performance, opportunities, and operational needs.
• Maintains a tidy, organised, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
• Helps plan small in-house promotions or initiatives to attract and retain customers.
Requirements
• Relevant qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.
Position: Full Time
Salary: $75.000 - $90,000 per year
