About the Position
The Retail Manager at Bentley Spices plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our bustling store, ensuring seamless inventory management, staff leadership, and an exceptional customer experience. This role is essential in driving sales growth, implementing effective merchandising strategies, and maintaining the store’s reputation as a go-to destination for South Asian groceries. The Retail Manager will lead a dedicated team, foster a positive work environment, and contribute directly to the store’s success through strategic planning and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all store operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, and daily workflows.
Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and maximize sales.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability.
Recruit, train, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
Design and implement promotional campaigns and pricing strategies to boost performance.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Analyze sales reports and devise strategies to improve store performance and meet KPIs.
Requirements

Minimum qualification: Diploma of Business.
Minimum experience: 1 year of relevant retail management experience.
Technical skills: Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) software (1 year preferred); experience working towards sales targets and KPIs (1 year preferred).
Interpersonal skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills; ability to motivate a team and handle customer interactions with professionalism.
