We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team at Zarraffa’s Coffee Boondall. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a professional who thrives in customer-focused environments and can drive performance, manage daily operations, and ensure our café continues to exceed customer expectations.
Location: Boondall, QLD
Key Responsibilities
As the Retail Manager, you will:
• Oversee daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service delivery and maintaining high standards of customer care.
• Monitor product availability and manage stock levels to meet customer demand while minimising wastage.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and in-store promotions to increase foot traffic and sales.
• Set and review pricing strategies in line with company policy and local market conditions.
• Lead, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring consistent service standards.
• Manage rosters to balance operational efficiency with fair and compliant workplace practices.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, sales, and inventory.
• Prepare budgets, monitor performance against targets, and report on financial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards and food safety regulations.
• Actively engage with customers, providing guidance on products and promoting new offerings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to refine processes, enhance service, and strengthen team performance.
• Represent the brand values of Zarraffa’s Coffee by upholding a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and community connection.

Position: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation per annum
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail or hospitality management role.
• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a related field.
