Kingsley’s Chicken is currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Retail Manager for the store located at Erindale ACT to lead its dynamic store team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and driving team performance.
The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing staff rosters, inventory control, compliance with company policies, and supporting the delivery of operational excellence.
Ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment, strong people management skills, and the ability to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, control and coordinate daily operations of the outlet to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Supervise and manage front-line staff including hiring, training, rostering, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and company policies and procedures
• Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements to service delivery
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate orders, and ensure optimal product availability.
• Formulate and implement purchasing strategies and set competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods
• Analyse sales reports and implement strategies to meet revenue targets
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally
• Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs within budget
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, including promotions and special offers.
• Promote marketing campaigns and brand promotions effectively
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Minimum Diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least one year relevant experience in a retail or quick-service restaurant management role
• Previous experience in managing a team

• Proficient in inventory and cost control
