Retail Manager – Zarraffa’s Coffee Deception Bay
Location: Deception Bay, QLD
Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our Deception Bay store and ensure high standards of service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing stock control, ordering, and inventory management to maintain optimal levels of coffee, food, and consumables.
• Developing and implementing pricing, promotional, and marketing strategies tailored to local customer preferences.
• Monitoring sales performance, preparing financial reports, and managing budgets to support profitability and growth.
• Setting and upholding high service standards to guarantee customers receive consistent quality in both product and service.
• Leading the recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management of staff, fostering a supportive and productive team culture.
• Supervising daily café operations including workflow, customer service delivery, and resolution of issues promptly.
• Ensuring compliance with health, food safety, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
• Building strong relationships with customers, promoting loyalty programs, and responding to feedback to enhance satisfaction.
• Driving promotional activities both in-store and through community engagement to increase visibility and sales.
• Introducing process improvements to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain cost-effective operations.
• Supporting the development of new menu items and seasonal specials in collaboration with the broader Zarraffa’s Coffee team.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within retail, café, or hospitality.
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field is required.
Employment Details
• Position: Full-time, 38 hours per week.
• Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
