We are operating Mad Mex Store in several locations in Sydney. Currently, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Penrith store. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing stock and staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards
• Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, including pricing strategies
• Promote the business within the local community through engagement initiatives and tailored campaigns
• Sell goods and services to customers and share information on the products
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Undertake budgeting and financial planning for the establishment
• Control the selection, training, and supervision of staff
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
About You
• A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or higher level of qualification in Business or Management or related field
• At least one year of proven experience in retail management or a similar role
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Sound understanding of retail operations, inventory control, and financial processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make effective business decisions
