Pinoy Stop Pty Ltd, a leading Filipino grocery business serving Australia’s multicultural population, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to help drive the continued success of our operations.

About the Role

As Retail Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our retail and food service business, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory efficiently, and leading a high-performing team. This is a full-time role with a salary ranging from $77,000 to $80,000 per year, plus superannuation.

Working Hours: The role offers 38 hours per week, with additional hours as reasonably required, in line with the relevant award or employment agreement.

Key Responsibilities

- Determining suitable product range, inventory levels, and quality service standards
- Designing and implementing purchasing, marketing, and pricing strategies
- Driving promotion and advertising of the organisation’s products and services
- Supporting customers with sales and providing expert product advice
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory records and financial documentation
- Developing, managing, and controlling the business budget
- Leading staff recruitment, training, and performance management
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must have completed at least a Diploma in Business or anything relevant and must have

- Minimum of one year of relevant full-time work experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership abilities with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Solid knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Previous experience in culturally diverse retail or hospitality environments is highly regarded.
- Professional, well-presented appearance at all times.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, multitask efficiently, and maintain reliability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Willingness and flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
