Our client, Medco Petroleum IP Pty Ltd T/A Medco Kanahooka, operates a fuel and convenience store in Kanahooka, NSW and is focused on providing Australians, quality fuels at competitive prices whilst exceeding customers' expectations with exceptional service. Client is looking for a highly motivated full time Retail Manager who has a passion for retail, a love of customers and a drive to deliver results to join the team in business.
You will be responsible for complete management of the store with a focus on customer service, operational efficiency, cost control and growth and help drive the seamless execution and delivery of key business imperatives through the retail network.
The managerial and administrative aspect of your role will encompass determining product mix, stock levels and service standards, selling goods, maintaining records of stock, financial transactions and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements
AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma and 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Roles and responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing, pricing, and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
Plan and execute daily operational strategies to achieve store and individual sales targets.
Uphold exceptional store standards, ensuring cleanliness, functionality of equipment, and effective merchandising.
Oversee daily stock management to minimise shortages and losses while maximising sales opportunities.
Handle all store and fuel-related enquiries independently and efficiently.
Lead, support, and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity.
Prepare and manage budgets, staff rosters, stock orders, and inventory reports.
Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Analyse sales data to forecast future performance and identify growth opportunities.
Stay informed on market trends and monitor competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Maintain accurate financial transaction records and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Enforce occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Plan and implement promotional activities, determine stock levels, and uphold service standards in line with company policies.
Regularly review competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions.
Initiate and implement service improvements to enhance business performance.
Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with people and product safety standards.
