Salary : $70,000 - $95,000 a year

The boutique hotels, restaurants and estates are unique to the Port Stephens and Ulladulla regions of New South Wales and provide an immersive journey through Australia’s most visited tourism destinations. The portfolio consists of irreplaceable locations, all with significant landholdings and signature restaurants such as Rick Stein’s Restaurant at both locations.

Salter Brothers Hospitality Group is seeking Restaurant Manager/Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their teams.

Task and Responsibilities:
Ensure restaurants, bars and event service is provided as per company Sequence of Service and RSA requirements.
Ensure outlets are always presented to an impeccable standard.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to produce an appealing and unique menu.
Coordination of bookings (including functions and events)
Ensure compliance with licensing and hygiene legislation/guidelines.
Ensure the food and beverage operational and financial objectives are met.
Resolve guest grievances tactfully and promptly.
Ensure optimum ordering of stock & ensure accurate stocktakes are conducted monthly.
Ensure the food and beverage team are aware and adheres to current budgets and targets.
Always ensure compliance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
Motivate and drive the food and beverage team through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring.

Skills and Experience:
Relevant qualification in the hospitality industry
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Proven management experience working in hospitality/customer service environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and get results.
Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
Technical product knowledge in food and wine.
Understanding of budgets and forecasting.
Knowledge of POS and end-of-day reconciliation procedures
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
